Privacy

This is a one-person roofing company, not an advertising business. The short version: I collect what I need to send you the estimate you asked for, I do not sell it, and if you want it gone you send one email and it is gone.

What this site collects

• A building address, when you ask for an estimate. It is sent to the measurement service that produces the number.
• Your email address, so I can send you the written estimate. This is required — the estimate is a document, and it has to go somewhere.
• A mobile number, only if you choose to enter one. It is optional, it is used only to reach you about your estimate, and I do not send marketing texts.
• Standard web analytics and advertising measurement through Google. If you arrived from an ad or a link I sent, that link carries a code telling me which campaign or mailing it was, so I know what is worth doing again. It does not identify you to anyone else.

I do not ask for, and this site does not collect, payment details, card numbers, government identifiers, or anything about your finances.

What I do with it

I use it to measure the roof, produce your estimate, and follow up with you about that estimate. That is the whole purpose.

I do not sell your details, rent them, or trade them. Nobody buys this list because it is not for sale.

I do not contact the property owner, the tenant, or anyone else about a building you enter. If you are a broker, a property manager or a facilities manager pricing a building on someone else's behalf, running a number here does not put anybody on a call list.

The measurement uses aerial and satellite imagery. Nobody visits the property to produce the number, and no permission from the owner is needed for it.

Who else sees it

Only the services that make this work: the hosting and form-delivery provider for this site, the mapping and imagery providers that measure the roof, the email provider that sends your estimate, and Google for advertising measurement. Each sees only what it needs to do its job, and none of them are given your details for their own marketing.

I will hand something over if the law requires it. Nothing else.

Getting it deleted, or being left alone

Email brian.a@kosarekcc.com and ask. You do not have to give a reason, you do not have to create an account, and you will not get a retention pitch.

• Stop emailing me — you are removed, permanently, and re-added by nothing.
• Delete what you hold on me — your address, email and estimate are deleted. I keep only the record that you asked to be left alone, because that is what stops you being contacted again by mistake later.

If I sent you an unsolicited email, it carries a way to opt out, and opting out works. It is honored quickly and it is honored permanently.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses Google's advertising and analytics tags to count how many people arrive and how many ask for an estimate. You can turn off personalized advertising in your Google account settings, and your browser can block or clear cookies for this site — the estimator still works.

Text messaging

If you give me your mobile number, I may text you about your estimate or your job — answering a question you asked, confirming an inspection or crew time, or telling you where your job stands. That is the whole of it. I do not send marketing or promotional texts.

How to start, and how to stop

Customers reach me by texting my published business number. Their incoming text is the opt in — I do not text anyone who has not texted me first, and I do not send marketing or promotional texts.
